I will be performing a short solo (7min excerpt) of "Re-membering" alongside many other performers at the The Junction Dance Festival on Sat night 7/23/22 at 7p at Briggs opera house White River Junction VT. It’s by donation- you just come and then seating is first come first sit :)

Angelina Ponzio Labate (she/her, snowflake.productions, BKNY) is an Italian American teaching and performing artist, choreographer and documentarian who works in the Afro Diasporic traditions of Street Dance, with an emphasis on Hip Hop Social Party Dances and House Dance Rhythms. She has lived, studied, documented and created across the U.S. and abroad and is a current Rennie Harris University Street Dance Teaching Certificate Candidate, and holds a B.A. in World Arts and Cultures/Dance with a Minor in Performing Arts Education from UCLA. WORKSHOP 7.24.22
I will also be facilitating a House / Club dance workshop offered for free by Junction Dance Festival. All levels- abilities- ages-identities- persons welcomed. Sunday 7/24/22 at 12:00 at Northern Stage in White River Junction. Let’s get our club on! It’s great if you’ve never been to the club or haven’t been in ages or are only 5yo or don’t know what to wear….this is a very low stress way to ease in and we will work on some tools for your toolbox. It’s also great if you’re a house head and you want to come cypher, I’ll offer you some tools as well or you can just come and vibe out. Literally everyone is welcome as long as you’re respectful. You may want to bring earplugs if loud music is not good for you. Anything you’re comfortable wearing, makes you feel good, and you can move easily in - is great. Water and towel encouraged and any kind of sneakers / comfortable kicks without a lot of tread suggested (something easier to turn, slide, groove in without sticking to the floor, like Pumas Adidas or Reeboks etc). You are also welcome exactly as you are, without any of these things. If you are able to and can please wear a mask that's appreciated - if you don't have one we will provide.
